Privacy policy
Michele Solutions Co., Ltd. ("the Company") processes the personal information you send through the contact form and the application forms of the Michele Solutions website (michelesolutions.kr) as follows, under the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea.
1. Controller
Michele Solutions Co., Ltd. (business registration no. 226-88-03801), 4th Floor, Suite 030, 46, Galmaesunhwan-ro 166beon-gil, Guri-si, Gyeonggi-do 11901, Republic of Korea; info@michelesolutions.kr
2. Purpose
To receive and answer your enquiries about the Company and its services. Not used for advertising; we would ask for separate consent before sending any advertising.
3. Items
Required: name, email, message · Optional: company, phone
4. Retention
Kept for 12 months after our last contact, then destroyed without delay, or earlier at your request. If the enquiry leads to business (a contract) with us, we keep it for as long as that business requires and tell you so.
5. Third parties and processors
We do not provide your enquiry to third parties. Server hosting is entrusted to:
Hebergement OVH Inc. (OVHcloud), 800-1801 Avenue McGill College, Montreal, QC H3A 2N4, Canada — provision and operation of the server that stores enquiries.
Our email service is entrusted to:
Google Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (Google Workspace), 70 Pasir Panjang Road, #03-71, Mapletree Business City, Singapore 117371 — the email service we use to reply to you and keep our correspondence.
6. Transfer abroad
Items: those in section 3
Countries: Singapore (where the server is), Canada (where the recipient is established and where the backup copies are kept)
When and how: sent over an encrypted connection when you send the form and stored on a server in Singapore; backup copies of the server are kept in the backup storage of the same provider in Canada
Recipient: Hebergement OVH Inc. (OVHcloud), 800-1801 Avenue McGill College, Montreal, QC H3A 2N4, Canada
Purpose and retention: as in sections 2 and 4
You have the right to refuse the transfer consent; the form then cannot be sent, with no other consequence.
Email correspondence:
Items: your name, email address and the content of our correspondence with you
Country: Singapore (contracting company) and the countries where Google operates its data centers, including the United States. Google chooses the data center; we cannot choose the country. Google publishes the current list of its data center locations at https://datacenters.google/locations/
When and how: when we reply to you or you reply to us, by encrypted email, stored in our mailbox in Google's data centers
Recipient: Google Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (Google Workspace), 70 Pasir Panjang Road, #03-71, Mapletree Business City, Singapore 117371
Purpose and retention: to reply to you and keep our correspondence; email correspondence is kept until your enquiry or application is closed (declined, withdrawn, or, if a test goes ahead, until the test and its follow-up are completed), and the correspondence is deleted when the enquiry or application is closed. An enquiry sent through the contact form is closed 12 months after the last contact.
You have the right to refuse the transfer; the form then cannot be sent, with no other consequence.
7. Destruction
When the retention period ends or you ask us, the information is destroyed without delay; electronic records are permanently deleted so that they cannot be restored, and disappear from the backup copies of our servers within 30 days. Email kept in our mailbox (Google Workspace) is deleted according to Google's deletion times, which we do not control.
8. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, to stop its processing, or withdraw consent: write to info@michelesolutions.kr. We act without delay.
9. Security
The form is sent over HTTPS. Only the people who answer enquiries can access them. The server keeps no web access logs and does not log the content of enquiries. The mail server records delivery logs of our emails (recipient address and time, not the content) for at most 90 days, for security and diagnosis. Backup copies of our servers are encrypted (AES-256) on our own server before they leave it, and the key is kept only by us.
10. Cookies and analytics
The site works without cookies. Only if you accept analytics in the cookie notice, we load Google Analytics 4 (Google) to see in aggregate how the site is used, for example which pages are visited. Until you accept, nothing is loaded and nothing is sent to Google.
Items: pages visited, time on the site, referring page, browser and device type, approximate location, and pseudonymous identifiers stored in cookies set by Google Analytics (_ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier). Google truncates IP addresses. We do not use it to identify you, and we do not link it to your enquiry.
Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage, not a cookie), and we ask again after 12 months.
Purpose: to understand and improve the site. Not used for advertising.
Retention: 14 months, then deleted automatically by Google.
Transfer abroad: the data is sent to Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States, over an encrypted connection, when you accept analytics and while you use the site. The same right to refuse applies: if you decline, the site works as before.
Withdraw at any time: use the "Privacy choices" button at the bottom left of every page to turn analytics off. Analytics stops loading and no further data is sent. You may also ask us to act on data already collected (section 8).

PSS test application form
The application form for a World Taekwondo PSS compliance test collects more than the contact form.
Items. Required: company name and country; name, email and phone of the person in charge; name and email of the technical contact; brand, model and version of the equipment, the components to test, the type of test requested, and whether the equipment is already homologated by World Taekwondo. Optional: website, role, sizes, a short description, the previous Test ID and the homologated model and version if any, and the documents you attach.
Purpose: to receive, assess and answer your application and to send you your Test ID and the next steps. The application is read only by the persons at Michele Solutions in charge of the test, and we reply by email. Applications and attachments are stored on our servers at OVH in Singapore, with backup copies at OVH in Canada (section 6), are not public and are not used for any other purpose. We do not use the data for advertising.
Reply: when you send the application, you receive an automatic confirmation from forms@michelesolutions.kr. It does not include a copy of your answers. It passes through our email provider (Google Workspace, sections 5 and 6). Nobody reads replies sent to that address: please wait for our reply from the person in charge. We then reply from our email service (Google Workspace).
Technical contact: if you give us the name and email of a colleague, we use them only to contact that person about the technical side of this application. We rely on our legitimate interest in handling the application (PIPA Art. 15(1)6), not on that person's consent. If you are that person, you may ask us where we got your data and ask us to stop (section 8).
Retention: the application and its attachments on our server are destroyed 12 months after the last contact. Our email correspondence with you (Google Workspace) is kept until the purpose is achieved, that is until your application is closed (declined, withdrawn, or, if a test goes ahead, until the test and its follow-up are completed), and the correspondence is deleted when the application is closed. If a test goes ahead, the documents move to the test file and are kept for the time the test contract and the law require, separately from other data.
Third parties, rights and security: as in sections 5, 8 and 9. Transfer abroad (Singapore, Canada, and the countries where Google's data centers are, including the United States) is described in section 6; you give a separate consent for it in the form. You may refuse either consent; the form then cannot be sent, and there is no other disadvantage.
13. Effective date
This policy applies from 2026-10-31. Changes are announced on this page.
